Mid-July rolls around again and with it, our annual ART@EYPE exhibition.
As usual, mixed-media artist Sally Davies, imaginative artist David Brooke, and I have put it together, and this year we are joined by half-a-dozen varied and fabulous artists from around the county: copper painter Julie Oldfield, stone sculptor Ben Russell, landscape painter Caroline Tucker, needlefelter Michelle Hickman, potter David Emery, and photographer Neil Barnes (you can find links to all these artists on our Facebook and Instagram). Every year we say how can we top this in future, and this year it's happened again. Our guest artists are amazing!
The 'café' is running again, this time in aid of the Bridport Forget Me Not Singers, a community choir for those with dementia and their carers – another great local cause we hope will receive a goodly amount from the 'donations' given in exchange for teas, coffees and incredible home-made cakes.
So many tempting reasons to visit Art@Eype!
