At long last, Tower Alley is open again!
Only three years, ten months and nine days since the fire that destroyed part of the Edwards Building (at the other end from my studio), the lane that runs alongside it has reopened to foot traffic. Hurrah!
While you can't drive the length of it – and the reconstructed part of the building remains fenced off (as, internally, it's still a work-in-progress) – at least, now, you can walk along the lane from the 'town end' to get to the studio.
Talking of which, the studio remains open 10am-5pm for Dorset Art Weeks right through the end of the event on Sunday 29th May (which, quite coincidentally, also sees the Vintage Market here at St Michael's Estate).
I will be 'in residence' every day except Monday and Friday, and I hope to see you there soon.
