10 July 2022

Next weekend, Friday 15th to Sunday 17th July, we head up once again to the lovely Eype Centre for the Arts, for our annual Art@Eype exhibition.

The centre, which leads a double life as St Peter's Church, enjoys an unrivalled position high on a hill overlooking the sea above the pretty village of Eype, just a mile or so outside of the town of Bridport.

The exhibition is, as usual, being run by my studio-mate Sally Davies, our fellow artist and friend David Brooke, and yours truly. This year we're being joined by colleagues from around the county, including painters Moira Hazel and Mike Jackson, painter and multi-media artist Andrea Jenkins, and sculptor Andrew Thomas. Should be a diverse and fascinating show.

There will also be the option of tea, coffee and cakes, there's free parking for our visitors if you don't fancy the walk from town or West Bay (nice walks!), and you can even bring your dog. Oh, and there's free entry.

According to the forecast it looks like it's going to be a scorcher again, so if a spell in the cool of an airy and beautiful hilltop venue soaking up some also very cool art (and chatting with the artists) sounds inviting, you'll know where we are!

Hours: Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 10-4. #artateype
